Creating a survey rule

Create a survey rule when you have more than one question to ask a user at run time. By using a survey to organize your questions into groups, you can collect information in a structured way.

  1. Click Designer Studio > Case Management > Survey to open the Survey Management landing page.

  2. Click Create survey to open the Create new survey dialog box.

  3. In the Name field, enter a unique name for the survey.

  4. Optional: To change the scope of the survey, expand the Context section, and provide a different class name, ruleset name, or ruleset version.

The scope controls which rules can reference your survey and which rules your survey can reference.

  5. Click Save to close the Create new survey dialog box.

  6. Click the name of your survey to access its configuration.

  7. On the Configuration tab, describe the purpose of the survey in the Instructions field.

  8. Optional: To define preprocessing for the survey, press the Down Arrow key in the Pre-action field, and select the name of an activity.

  9. Click Save.
